The Hubby Mysteries is a cozy, episodic radio mystery series
inspired by radio and tv shows like Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar,
Perry Mason, Nero Wolfe,Lovejoy, and Murder, She Wrote.
Jim and Greg Madigan run Stardust Antiques, a small shop whose
inventory brings them into contact with artists, heirs, fences,
socialites, collectors, cops, and cons. When crime intrudes on
their cosy domestic world, the Hubbies apply logic, empathy,
and deep insight into human behavior to expose the truth. Amid
the AIDS crisis of 1982 San Francisco’s Castro District Greg
and Jim help bring queer justice to their corner of the
gayborhood. With short audio plays, the show provides a queer
new twist on an old genre.
