Armed with a pair of 1200’s and a two-channel mixer, Jesse Frank taught himself to mix by hosting a weekly, all-vinyl night in Phoenix, Arizona called Truck Stop (PHX). During those years, he curated a sleazy blend of classic garage, obscure disco and cheeky Italo for the thirsty ears of the Sonoran desert. From gay bars to back rooms, it wasn’t long before his sounds caught the attention of the Bay Area. In 2020, he officially became a resident of DAD (SFO) and the city of San Francisco. With his ability to apply his taste and talent to any environment, Jesse Frank is living his dream — giving back to a queer family that has always supported him in the city he loves the most.
