The Eagle Family and the SF Eagle are maintaining a tradition of working together in order to uphold the leather ideals of respect, honor and integrity; and to implement those ideals in upholding and supporting the leather/kink communities in San Francisco and beyond.

SF Eagle Leather Pet Contest Itinerary

The following itinerary is to assist in planning, but is NOT final. All events take place at the SF Eagle unless otherwise noted.

Friday, July 17, 2026

• Meet and Greet 7-9pm
  (Plan on being at the bar at 6:30pm)

Saturday, July 18, 2026

• Arrive at the Folsom Street Community Center (1286 Folsom St.) 12pm

• Interviews 12:30pm

• Food Break 2pm (approx.)

• Contest Begins at 5pm

Sunday, July 19, 2026

• Beer Bust 3-7pm

Contestant Eligibility

• Due to the nature of a title representing a bar, Contestants must be over the age of 21.

• Must be a resident of one of the nine San Francisco Bay Area counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, or Sonoma. This qualification may be waved with a unanimous vote of the contest committee.

• Must not currently hold any leather, ducal, imperial, or other contest title.

• May not have previously held a National or International title.

• May not have been convicted or plead guilty to a violent crime. Failure to disclose will result in immediate revocation of the title.

• Contestants must not be current employees of the SF Eagle. Former employees must wait a minimum of three calendar years before they are eligible to compete for any SF Eagle title.

If you will need additional assistance to participate in the contest (including but not limited to ASL interpreter, physical assistance for the visually impaired, or wheelchair accommodations), please make a note in the “Additional Comments” portion of the application.

NOTE: Throughout this document the term CONTEST shall mean the SF Eagle Leather Pet contest, the term PRODUCERS shall mean Lex Montiel, the Contest Committee and any other producers and associate producers who may be designated in the future. We, as the owner and producers of the contest withhold the right to deny admittance into the aforementioned contest should we determine the applicant, upon inspection through social media and other means, does not reflect upstanding community values or our ideal SF Eagle Leather Pet candidate.

Photographic Release and Waiver

I, the undersigned, hereby give the CONTEST and it’s PRODUCERS, their photographers, legal representatives, agents or assigns, the right and permission to copyright, use, reuse, broadcast and/or publish any and all Photographic Pictures of me, which shall be take during the CONTEST or as a result my preparation for the CONTEST, or as a result of my having participated in the CONTEST. That term “Photographic Pictures”, as used herein shall include portraits, or reproductions thereof, including audio and video tapes, made through any media. Further such rights shall include the right to use such Photographic Pictures in conjunction with my name, and through any media, for any purpose whatsoever. I HEREBY WAIVE any right to inspect or approve the finished Photographic Pic-tures, or the method of their eventual use, including any related audio or printed copy which may be used in conjunction therewithin. I HEREBY RELEASE, discharge and agree to save harmless the CONTEST and its PRODUCERS, their photographers, legal representatives, agents or assigns, including those publishing and/or distributing the finished product, in whole or in part, from and against any liability or claim as a result of the use of publication of said Photographic Pictures, from any distortion, blurring, alteration, optical illusion, or use in composite form, either intentionally or otherwise, that may occur or be produced in the taking, processing or reproduction of the Photographic Pictures, their publication or distribution. I HAVE READ the foregoing Release and Waiver before signing my name below. I warrant my full understanding of its contents, and that I am of legal age to give consent in this state.

Indemnification and Hold Harmless

I certify that i have attained at least twenty-one (21) years of age, and that I, based upon mutual covenants and considerations (including granting me the privilege of attending and participating in the CONTEST) will not hold the PRODUCERS nor the individual and/or collective owners, officers, agents, and employees thereof liable for any injury to my person or property occurring during any period in association with the CONTEST, and I further agree to indemnify and save harmless and hold harmless the PRODUCERS the individual and/or collective owners, officers, agents and employees from any and all liability, injury or economic loss or other damage.
